The Grey Area
Some of us never get to meet our babies. Not even on a screen. For the longest time I thought that meant that my loss was insignificant or not real. But that was still a life.
To the girl who’s struggling…
To the girl who’s struggling I see you, I am you. Whether it was with getting pregnant, staying pregnant, getting through delivery and recovery, postpartum, those early days with your baby, the sleep regressions, learning how to feed your baby and keep them alive, learning how to become this new version of yourself that you now are- whatever it is- I feel ya.
Wounds & Scars
Even after having your baby, your pain doesn’t go away. It’s still present lingering and it’s okay to still have moments that hurt. Wounds and scars are two different things, but they’re both reminders of the pain that was present.
