10 Lessons I Learned from My First Year of Motherhood
My first year of motherhood was a doozy. I experienced so many changes and challenges with my body, baby, family, marriage, business and in my faith. I want to take a bit of time in this last episode before my mid-season break to share with you the top ten things I learned in this first year. Share with a new mom or a mom-to-be, maybe it will help her too. Don’t forget to subscribe and join us back here on January 12th for the 2nd half of season two! Happy Holidays!
It’s Not Personal
Having experienced two miscarriages of my own and getting pregnant with our double rainbow baby a year after we started trying, I know how hard it is when people talk about how easy it is to get pregnant. It can be so hurtful, even when it’s not intentional. I want to open this conversation up to those who are struggling to get pregnant, struggling with loss, infertility, secondary infertility and hopefully open the eyes of those who have been fortunate not to face those issues. I also want to make those of you who are walking through this season in one way or another feel seen, heard and loved and hopefully help you navigate the pregnancies happening all around you, even when it hurts horribly.
