3 Ways To Make Self Care Easier
Self care can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. It can be a part of your day to day life without becoming an obsession. Here's how!
Branching Out
I have a weird fear of doing certain things.
Working out in front of people. Dancing in public settings- especially weddings. Not getting enough food at a restaurant and basically paying to leave hungry. Keeping plants alive. You get the point- weird things.
I guess I’m scared of them because it’s an underlying fear of failure due to the fact that I’m not the best at any of these things.
Habit Overcomes Habit
Habit overcomes habit, when you allow it to. Let’s discuss goal setting, how I’m managing my mental & physical health and bringing peace to my household all at the same time.
Everyone Has Problems
Growing up I remember thinking about my weight a lot. I was very self conscious and always thought I was considered overweight. That is, thanks to the BMI test we had to do at school. What a load of BS that test is.
Spring Cleaning!
When I think of spring I see it as a season of new growth, a chance to bloom and blossom. A chance to rake out what you don't need & replace it with what you do.
Mental Health: Coping & Supporting
Welcome back to another morning coffee where I share with you the best ways to support someone who is dealing with mental health issues & how to cope with it yourself.
No Mirrors
Reflecting on how I feel about my body and my mental health after listening to Sasha Sloan’s new album.
Not Your People
Some people just aren’t your people. This is the year we stop forcing friendships that aren’t meant to be and start truly valuing our worth.
Filtering Out Follows
When was the last time you filtered out who you follow? When we spend hours a week scrolling, you should be aware of who you’re letting influence you.
Relatable: Men’s Mental Health
In honor of men’s mental health week I’d love to share a few actionable steps that you can take to support your male partner in caring for his mental health.
The Body Positivity Movement Is Killing Us
I have strong opinions on the body positivity movement and how skewed it has become. Read on for my experience and how I believe we could approach our bodies in a less toxic way.
A recap of the 5 books I read/listened to in July of 2024. Including two very popular books that I “DNF’d” and a title from Annie Down’s earlier catalog.
