Praise Through Tears

Welcome back to the Solidarity podcast

where we share stories to connect with one another, find comfort in life’s challenges & to celebrate the solidarity that is, being a woman.

This week I unfortunately am not able to provide a complete script of show notes. I had my son’s first birthday party, family in town and a bunch of holiday prep. If you listen in you’ll also learn that this was a spur-of-the-moment, unplanned, unscripted, heavy episode. My heart has been heavy and so I just decided to pour it all out and let God speak to whoever needed to hear. That being said if you’re an avid show notes kinda person, I’ll at least leave a list of scripture for you to meditate on that I mentioned in this week’s episode. Whether you’re going through it right now or you’re doing great, I find these passages encouraging and I’m sure you will too.

John 10:10

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Psalm 34:17-20

“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.”

Hebrews 13:15

“Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.”

James 5:13

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.”

John 16:33

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Hebrews 13:5

“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Philippians 4:19

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
