Where Faith + Health Collide
God made our bodies, He made our minds and He made our hearts and He cares about all of them and how they work together. Sometimes we focus in on one area so much that we forget the others exist. Today I’m excited to be interviewing my friend Lauren, of @laurenrachellefitnes. She is sharing her journey with health and how her relationship with God has influenced it over the years. This is such an encouraging episode if you’re struggling in any way with your body image, sense of self worth or you just need a little encouragement on how to get started or get re-motivated in your fitness journey.
Praise Through Tears
Are you hurting? Feeling broken, hopeless, discouraged or defeated? In an unscripted and vulnerable episode, I’m sharing some of what God has been teaching me lately about praise, even through the tears, even when I’ve got nothing left.
Unstable Ground
Life is predictably unpredictable. Circumstances come and go that shake us to our very core. Our emotions flip and flop and life can feel very unsteady most of the time. Thankfully God sees us and does not abandon us- in fact He provides an unshakeable foundation if we choose to root ourselves in Him. Tune in to hear my story and hear what God has to say about being in these seasons and how we can rely on Him to get us through.
Whole Body Wellness
In a continuation of last week’s discussion about the body and how to take care of it in a God-honoring way, I’m excited to dive in with practical tips. We’re talking about whole body wellness. How to care for your mind, body, heart and spirit. I am sharing a ton of tips in this episode that is a bit longer than normal, but definitely worth it. Let me know your favorite tip and area you want to work on and we can be accountability partners!
Binging, Bodies & Blessings
Today I’m opening up and being vulnerable with my body, breaking away from binging and the blessings that occur when you disconnect your worth from your body and invite God into your health journey.
Coping With Anxiety
Although the stigma around mental health has gotten increasingly better, I don’t see many people talking about how to naturally prevent bouts of anxiety or cope through them so that they don’t get worse. So let’s talk about it.
Grafted: How God Sees You
In a world that is constantly knocking to define our self worth and value, we must refocus on where our value truly lies- with WHOM our value truly lies within. Here is a reminder of how you can become grafted into God and how He sees you. It is an encouragement that I hope you will take with you and listen to when you struggle to see just how much He loves you.
Is Self Care Selfish?
The fad that is self care, while important, has often struck a nerve with me. So I want to pose the question, is self care selfish? Should followers of Jesus be hyper focused on self-care or is there a way to find rejuvenation & take care of oneself while also focusing on God? Let's chat.
Anxious About Anxiety
Have you ever felt anxious about your anxiety? Maybe there's anxiety about your mental state because of the church and what they teach about what God says about anxiety? I know I've been there and have often been talked down to and made to feel ashamed about having mental health issues because of certain passages. So today I want to encourage you, speak truth over you and remind you that God loves you and He's not surprised by what you're going through and He doesn't want you to walk in it alone. I hope you find some solidarity in knowing that I've walked this road as well.
Angry Mommy Syndrome
Let's talk: postpartum rage. I know it's not something we usually talk about because frankly, it's embarrassing and it can feel shameful. But when those hormones are raging, your baby is screaming and you feel like you're the only one on earth who can't keep it together, you need to know that this is normal and that you are in fact very much, not alone.
The Process of Processing
I'm honored to share my friend Cassie's testimony about how she's processing her trauma and the process that God has walked her through to heal. She's talking about spiritual warfare, how it's effecting her family and how she's handling it. I also want to add a TRIGGER WARNING to let you know that she will be mentioning childhood trauma that includes sexual assault. I invite you to listen in and find solidarity in the spiritual battle that we're all facing in one way or another.
A Hard Day With My Body
Recently I had a hard day with my body. That’s what I’m calling them now. Just hard days. I thought I’d share my reflection at the end of the day because I’m pretty sure a lot of y’all may be able to relate.
You Know You Can Quit?
A gift quickly turned into a metaphor for my life and I had to share because I believe you will be able to relate and possibly be inspired to take action to show up for yourself more.
I Am A Rose

Justice Only Comes Through Jesus
In a world that is constantly telling us to fix every problem imaginable, we must remember to redirect our eyes to God. We can put others first, fight for them and love them wildly but at the end of the day, true justice only comes through Jesus.

Don’t Judge A Girl By Her Nails
Let’s talk about nails. Jk. Mine are a mess. Actually, let’s talk about mental health. I’ve been there and I want to tell you a little story. Can you relate?
