Whole Body Wellness
In a continuation of last week’s discussion about the body and how to take care of it in a God-honoring way, I’m excited to dive in with practical tips. We’re talking about whole body wellness. How to care for your mind, body, heart and spirit. I am sharing a ton of tips in this episode that is a bit longer than normal, but definitely worth it. Let me know your favorite tip and area you want to work on and we can be accountability partners!
Binging, Bodies & Blessings
Today I’m opening up and being vulnerable with my body, breaking away from binging and the blessings that occur when you disconnect your worth from your body and invite God into your health journey.
Coping With Anxiety
Although the stigma around mental health has gotten increasingly better, I don’t see many people talking about how to naturally prevent bouts of anxiety or cope through them so that they don’t get worse. So let’s talk about it.
Grafted: How God Sees You
In a world that is constantly knocking to define our self worth and value, we must refocus on where our value truly lies- with WHOM our value truly lies within. Here is a reminder of how you can become grafted into God and how He sees you. It is an encouragement that I hope you will take with you and listen to when you struggle to see just how much He loves you.
Is Self Care Selfish?
The fad that is self care, while important, has often struck a nerve with me. So I want to pose the question, is self care selfish? Should followers of Jesus be hyper focused on self-care or is there a way to find rejuvenation & take care of oneself while also focusing on God? Let's chat.
Anxious About Anxiety
Have you ever felt anxious about your anxiety? Maybe there's anxiety about your mental state because of the church and what they teach about what God says about anxiety? I know I've been there and have often been talked down to and made to feel ashamed about having mental health issues because of certain passages. So today I want to encourage you, speak truth over you and remind you that God loves you and He's not surprised by what you're going through and He doesn't want you to walk in it alone. I hope you find some solidarity in knowing that I've walked this road as well.
You Know You Can Quit?
A gift quickly turned into a metaphor for my life and I had to share because I believe you will be able to relate and possibly be inspired to take action to show up for yourself more.
